Top Fashion Photographers in Waterloo

We are very proud to finally show everyone our award winning fashion image. This image was awarded the Top Fashion Image in the Professional Photographers of Canada Salon for 2016.  🙂

Images from all over Canada were entered into the PPOC annual National Salon this past winter. The judging took place in British Columbia in early February and the results were kept top secret until the big awards banquet that was held on Monday in Calgary.

Qualified Professional Photographers from all over Canada are permitted to enter only four images each year into this competition. There are all kinds of different categories/classes for photographers to enter, everything from portraits to landscapes.

This year we entered our usual four and were lucky enough to have three of those images survive the hardest judging I have ever witnessed as a PPOC member, and get accepted into the National Salon.

Our image entitled “Ice Blue” received a score of “Merit” and went on to win ” Best in Class” in the Fashion Category. “Ice Blue” was also selected to the prestigious Loan Collection. The Loan Collection, in the PPOC, is the top 40 images from all categories in the PPOC National Salon.

I would like to thank my amazing client and friend Missy Morrow for being such a crazy cool model for this shoot. You make my job so much easier. 🙂

I would also like to thank all the National Judges for your tireless work over the three days of judging and for choosing my image for this award. You all ROCK 🙂
