Fall Family Portraits

We are having so much fun this Fall photographing families and kids in the beautiful outdoors! The weather has been spectacular, and last Sunday night was no exception. On this perfect weekend evening I met the McCarthy Family out at their picturesque family farm north of Guelph. We went for a lovely walk around the property, stopping every so often to create some photo memories. Below are just a couple of the images this amazing family purchased. I could have photographed them all night long on this incredible property. Their beautiful custom print has been ordered and is going to hang above their fireplace so they can see it everyday.

We LOVE photographing traditional family and newborn baby sessions in Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo. Photography doesn’t have to involve silly props or gimmicks.  Karn, Chris and baby Blake ordered some incredible custom images for their home, to go with a beautiful maternity image we took this summer. They will be coming back in six months and again at one year to finish off their “Baby’s First Year” program that we offer. The collage they will have hanging on their wall will look AMAZING.

We love when our clients want to get custom prints from our studio to decorate their homes. Looking at images on a CD does not compare in the least to having a professionally printed and framed image in your family room that you can enjoy every day.

Fall Children’s Portraits

So we are now back to shooting after an amazing weekend in Toronto at the PPOC Awards Gala.

“A family that long boards together stays together”
Here at the studio we get a lot of single moms booking family sessions…..but only a few single dads. We are hoping that this is starting to change. We were really excited when Robert gave me a call, after I shot his business portrait, to photograph him and his 2 boys for a fun family session…… and fun it was. They brought their really cool long boards to the shoot and I am so glad they did. We spent some time doing the regular family portraits and then as the sun was going down we got the boards out and did some really cool images. This was the last shot I took that night and it is one of my favorites. Family photography doesn’t have to be boring. Give us a call today to book your family in for some really cool images.

“Wow is what I can say about my experience with John Wills. When I first got a hold of him to book pictures he totally got what I was saying about what I wanted done for family pics. He made me feel like we were old friends just chatting away about our families. When time came to do pictures my son became very shy and withdrawn and I thought well there goes the nice pictures I wanted….WRONG!! John put his camera down and started to play with my son. He chased him around, let him play with camera and let him decide how he wanted to pose and voila amazing pictures. All it took was just that little time for that trust to build.
